Now that I’ve lived with the truck for a bit, I’ve realized that while the vault is massive, it can quickly become a chaotic mess without the right gear.
Today, I’m installing and reviewing two key organizational pieces from Hansshow: their side-mounted MOLLE panels and their Vault Divider. If you’ve been shopping for these, you know that some options (including Tesla’s own) aren’t compatible with bed liners. I’m putting these to the test to see if they can handle my rugged setup.
Hansshow MOLLE Panels
First up are the MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) panels. These are designed to mount to the L-track system on the sides of the vault.
- Packaging and Quality: I have to give Hansshow credit—they’ve really stepped up their packaging game. Everything arrived organized with the hardware clearly separated for the passenger and driver sides.
- Installation: The panels mount using supports that slide into the L-track circles. It’s a straightforward install, though I did find some minor metal shavings in one of the screw holes that I had to clear out. Once tightened, the aluminum alloy panels feel incredibly sturdy and weather-resistant.
- Functionality: These panels allow you to utilize the vertical space on the vault walls. I’ve already started mounting ropes, fasteners, and even thinking about using them as tie-down points for my bikes.

The Vault Divider: Bed Liner Friendly!
One of my biggest concerns was finding a divider that worked with my existing bed mat. The official Tesla divider reportedly has fixed feet that won’t clear a liner, but the Hansshow version solves this perfectly.
- Adjustable Feet: The feet on this divider can be manually adjusted (or tweaked with the included wrench) to accommodate the extra height of a bed mat or liner.
- The Locking Mechanism: It uses a simple but effective latch system. When the latch is up, the edges retract so you can slide the divider along the L-track. When pushed down, it extends and “grabs” the track, locking it firmly in place.
- Organization: You aren’t limited to just one; you could easily run two or three of these to create dedicated “cubbies” for groceries, tools, or camping gear.

Technical Tip: Water in the Vault
I noticed after a bit of rain that even with the tonneau cover closed, there were some wet spots in the vault. This is a reminder that the Cybertruck vault is not 100% waterproof. If you’re mounting sensitive electrical cables or gear to your MOLLE panels, keep them elevated or use waterproof bags. This discovery has also influenced my “road trip prep” (check out my Home Depot tarp video for more on that!).
Final Verdict
The combination of the MOLLE panels and the adjustable divider has completely transformed how I use the truck. It stops the “slide and crash” of gear every time I hit the brakes and keeps my most-used tools exactly where I can find them.
